Can I get a price over the phone?

Each product is custom built to your exact requirements and/or specifications. The many options available affect the price of your room or product such as size, choice of material and design. A design consultant needs to see your home to give you an accurate price.

Do you provide in-home quotes?

Yes. A representative will visit with you at no cost or obligation. They will give you a complete overview of the Betterliving product of your choice, take measurements and give you a cost estimate immediately. This is an EXACT price right down to the penny, unlike your usual “ballpark estimate.”

What’s the average cost of a sunroom?

Like homes, sunrooms come in all styles and price ranges. Because all of our rooms are custom built with so many options available, we are sure to find a style to fit your budget!

How long does it take to install a room/window/awning?

Most rooms can be built within a week. It generally takes between 10-12 weeks from the time you decide to own a room, to complete installation. Awnings and windows can be installed within 1-2 days; and it usually takes 2-6 weeks from the time of your order to complete the installation.

Will sub-contractors be used on the construction?

No. Our sunroom installers are in-house employees who are factory trained, licensed, bonded and insured.

How will I know what permits are required and how they are processed?

The requirements for permits vary from town to town. For your convenience, we will obtain all required permits for work on your home. All of the work is done to exact code requirements.

What kind of glass is used for the rooms?

The windows and doors of all our rooms are made of fully tempered glass. It is much stronger than regular glass and will not shard. We offer single pane, argon gas insulated and Low E.

Are the windows and doors ENERGY STAR® qualified?

Sunrooms designed for year round heating and cooling are eligible to earn the ENERGY STAR®. Betterliving vinyl windows and doors are ENERGY STAR® qualified in all 50 states.

What kind of roller wheels are used on the windows and doors?

Our rugged steel rollers run on a stainless steel track that keep operation smooth for the long term.

Do you have UL®approval for electric wiring?

We have it! We've passed the rigorous testing and approval process for UL® classification.

Do you help with financing?

Yes. We are affiliated with several major financial institutions who provide secure, unsecure and home improvement loans.

How long has Betterliving been in business?

Our manufacturer, Craft-bilt has been in business since 1946. Betterliving has been serving Northesast PA since 2000.

What kind of warranty comes with the room?

50 YEAR MANUFACTURERS WARRANTY on all Betterliving® Patio and Sunrooms!
This warranty, which is transferable if the home is ever sold, includes 50 years on panels, 50 years on components, 50 years on spontaneous glass breakage, and 15 years against seal failure which is above industry standards.
